33 i. Leon³ Bowie (#4568) was born in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana 1850. Leon died November 25, 1915 in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana, at 65 years of age.⁽¹⁾ He married Sallie [--?--] Bowie. (Sallie [--?--] Bowie is #4569.) Sallie was born in South Carolina 1848.

34 ii. Wesley Bowie (#4567) was born in Louisiana 1855.⁽²⁾

James Bowie and Mary Marceline Barker Bowie had the following children:
