He married Lorene Anderson Bowie in Longview, Gregg County, Texas, about 1933. (Lorene Anderson Bowie is #72.) Lorene was born in Gladewater, Gregg County, Texas October 4, 1914. Lorene was the daughter of Aaron Anderson and India Moseley Anderson. Lorene died March 9, 1990 in California, at 75 years of age.
